Our story
Modern tools, without losing the warmth of local trade.
Karu Reserv was born from a simple belief: a baker, a butcher or a caterer deserves tools as powerful as those of the big chains — without losing their soul or their time.
Karukera, where it began
The name Karu Reserv is rooted in Karukera — “the island of beautiful waters”, the original name of Guadeloupe. It was there, among the shops that keep neighbourhoods alive, that the project began: watching shopkeepers juggle the phone, the notebook and the spreadsheet, and being certain there had to be a better way.
From that observation came a wider ambition. A baker's struggles in Pointe-à-Pitre are the same as in Lyon, Madrid or Brussels. So we built Karu Reserv for local shops everywhere, keeping the attention to detail inherited from its origins.
« Local businesses should never have to choose between warm service and effective tools. »
Our mission
Make order management so simple it disappears. No 200-page manual, no endless training: a platform you can master in ten minutes, the time it takes to drink a coffee.
We want to give every shopkeeper back what truly matters — time for their customers, peace of mind for their teams, and a clear view of their business.
What guides us
Proximity first
We build for the shop floor, not the boardroom. Every feature has to help a real shopkeeper on a real busy morning.
Radical simplicity
The best interface is the one you don't have to explain. We remove until only the essential remains.
Your data is yours
European hosting, encryption, no reselling. You remain the sole owner of your customers' information, and you can export everything whenever you want.
Close to the field
The best ideas come from shopkeepers themselves. We listen, we test, we adjust — continuously.
